In a new report, ' Business case for social sustainability,' commissioned by NTT through ThoughtLab, those stats are just on the beginner end of the social sustainability profiles they modelled. The respondents of the report were Senior Executives (250) from large enterprises ranging in size but revenues between $1 billion to over $100 billion across regions.

The industries surveyed were:
Manufacturing
Telecoms and Technology
Retail and Consumer Goods
Financial Services
Healthcare and Life Sciences

The business case is clear: investing in Social sustainability produces results.

Do you have to be a billion-dollar company to start investing in social sustainability, no. You do need a plan. You should work with a budget that is commiserate with where you are financially.
