You never know what image will resonate with an audience. I use visuals a lot when presenting. On this occasion, the photo of 'The Wizard of Oz' and Alan Turig was one of the photos that resonated.

What does The Wizard of Oz have to do with AI?

The Tin Man, a character from 'The Wizard of Oz ', was an early introduction to AI and machine learning, making its debut in 1939. Just over a decade later, in 1950, Alan Turing wrote his groundbreaking paper 'Computer Machinery and Intelligence: How to build intelligent machines and test their knowledge '. This transition from The Tin Man to Turig is a fascinating journey of AI evolution.

AI is arguably the most fundamental tool created, and several business sustainability impacts come with it.
