Namibia is the home of Africa's first green hydrogen power plant.

The $181m project by HDF Energy aims to ensure clean electricity is supplied 24 hours, all year round. Namibia has ambitions to become the green energy hub for Africa. Namibia is the first of many African countries to follow.

What I like about this project is that although it is foundationally an environmental sustainability initiative, the output of having power for everyone will see results socially and economically.
