There is a structural shift happening, and innovative companies are getting ahead of the curve.
Environmental sustainability continues to be the industry's primary focus; however, in the next 5-10 yrs, there will be an equal balance between social, economic, and environmental sustainability. The shift is starting now.
In a recent SS&P Intralinks survey, 196 globally based investors were surveyed to gain their views on the performance of alternative investment funds over the next 12 months and their future allocation. 62% of the respondents viewed ESG (Environmental, Social and (Corporate) Governance) reporting over the next 12 months as either "important" or "very important".
Sustainability and the importance of a sustainable supply chain should be a critical objective for organisations.
